PDF & Adobe Acrobat
Portable Document Format (PDF) & ISO 32000-1
PDF is a portable format for electronic document distribution,
visualization and printing, regardless of platform (operating system,
viewing and printing devices), or of the application used to create the
document, preservating fidelity to the original document:
formatting, fonts, colors, imagens and graphics.
The PDF format is compact and the documents can be viewed and printed
correctly and precisely, with a free Adobe Acrobat Reader, available for
a wide variety of operating systems.
With Adobe Acrobat software, the author can insert many facilities for
navigation and hipertext, as well as multimedia features, into the document.
